How It All Began
Sometimes the most beautiful love stories start with the simplest moments, and ours began at a front door in Germany...
The Single Life
Joel was sick of not having a wife, while Seko was thoroughly enjoying her single life.
During her one-year voluntary service in Germany, Seko was in on the running joke on social media where introverts expect their husbands to appear at their door without them having to go out or socialize.
"Guess where they met? At the front door!"
The Door That Changed Everything
Seko was struggling to get the door open, and Joel stepped in to help. They lived in the same apartment building on different floors.
They exchanged names, and there began the friendly neighborhood relationship.
From Neighbors to Family
From "good morning" and "good evening" greetings, their friendship blossomed into something deeper.
They shared meals together - from pancakes to fufu to frequent Sunday pizzas. They were not only "taste buds" but also became brother and sister (in Christ of course🌚).
They shared their testimonies and even a few prayer topics, took trips to church programs; the most memorable was a 7-hour trip to visit an International Church in South Germany.
The Perfect Proposal
Almost 2 years of friendship and 11 months of relationship later, Joel proposed in the church where Seko served as a volunteer for a year.
"She said yes!"
Making It Official
Now the two will make it official before God, friends and family.
God does answer our prayers ❤
